Getting Started
Amperlise is a platform for building assessments, feedback forms, and the pages that present them. This guide walks through how an account is organized and where each feature lives.
Overview
Everything you build lives in a simple hierarchy: your account belongs to one or more organizations, each organization contains workspaces, and each workspace holds the actual content — feedback forms, assessments, pages, and themes.
Organizations are the billing and membership boundary: the plan, the member list, and the custom subdomain are all set per organization. Workspaces are the working boundary: separate teams, projects, or classes each get their own workspace with its own members and permissions.
Organizations & members
Creating an organization is free — every new organization starts on the Free plan. Invite people by email from the organization's members page; invitations appear in the recipient's account, where they can be accepted or declined.
Every organization member has one of three roles:
Workspaces & permissions
A workspace is where the actual building happens — its sidebar gives you forms, assessments, submissions, participants, analytics, pages, themes, and monitoring tools. The first time you open a builder, a short guided tour points out its key areas; relaunch it anytime from the help icon in the builder's header.
Workspace access is separate from organization membership: people are added to each workspace individually, and every workspace member has a role with configurable permissions — who can create forms, see results, grade submissions, manage settings, and so on.
That makes setups like “teachers build, assistants grade, reviewers only read analytics” possible without sharing more access than needed.
Content moves with you: forms and assessments can be duplicated, moved or copied between workspaces in the same organization, and exported to a file that imports anywhere — so something built once is easy to reuse.
Plans & limits
The core building blocks — every input and question type, auto-grading, analytics, exports, and password protection — are available on every plan, including Free. Paid plans raise usage caps and add advanced capabilities like conditional logic, proctoring, custom URLs, pages, and themes.
The pricing page has the full plan-by-plan comparison of every limit and feature. See the full comparison
